Mark is the Founder, Director, and Father figure to the Impact Team
His mentoring has led to the development of an amazing team of chaplains and sports professionals, engaging and partnering with local community groups, and holding free clinics to help encourage and plant seeds of vision and hope. Each time they go the response is always positive and well received.
Involved in community work for over 37 years. He has a heart of gold and people are always his priority.
In the early ’90s Mark joined the Pastoral team at CLC, although he been involved in church life for many years prior.
In 2015 Mark and Joy joined the Impact Team where the ethos has always been about building a bridge with the community.
Mark is married to Joy and has 2 daughters Bethany and Ellie and a Grandson Finn. Mark and Joy have been married since January 1989 and have worked together daily pastoring and helping people for most of that time.
He has always loved sport and especially the game of Rugby league. He had the opportunity to play A grade football for 8 years in local teams around Sydney.
He has traveled many times to developing nations and after the Tsunami in Sri Lanka he and a team raised finances to build a fishing village and help a local school along with hundreds of the local people with food and water.
